Mark Silvestain
Hi, I’m Mark Silvestain, Founder and Managing Member of Elite Insurance Agency LLC. I first earned my insurance license in 1986, beginning a career that was deeply influenced by my father and the example he set. Growing up, I watched him build a respected insurance agency, and I remember his agent awards hanging proudly on the walls of our home. Working alongside him remains one of the most meaningful experiences of my professional life and shaped how I approach service and relationships today.
I was raised in a family that owned multiple businesses, including an insurance agency, convenience stores, a wholesale food distribution and manufacturing company, and an office coffee and vending business. I had the opportunity to work in each of them. That hands-on experience gave me firsthand knowledge of the realities of business ownership, the risks, the responsibilities, and the importance of protecting what you build.
In 2004, I sold an agency I had owned and operated. Several years ago, after suffering a severe back injury, I realized I needed to step away from more physically demanding work. I made the decision to return to insurance, an industry where I had previously found success and where I could continue serving others in a meaningful way. That decision led to the creation of Elite Insurance Agency LLC in January 2024.
My goal is to become a trusted part of my clients’ financial teams. I strive to provide superior service by leveraging modern technology, working with financially stable carriers, and guiding clients with clear, informed recommendations that protect their families and businesses.
Personally, my greatest accomplishment is my wife of 32 years. Together, we have raised six children, five daughters and one son, who are the center of my life. Outside of work, I enjoy genealogy, fishing, firearms and knife collecting, and automobiles.
Everything I do professionally is grounded in the values I learned early on: integrity, hard work, and treating people the way I would want my own family treated.
